Which Ubuntu version for my system?
#1
I have the new baytrail nuc. The intel dn2820fyk

I want to set it up so that I can have use the latest nightly builds of xbmc and be able to use all the addons available. I've tried openelec and while it was functional some addons wouldn't work. Which is why I want to switch to an ubuntu build.

Which build of ubuntu should I install? I just want it to load directly into xbmc. It won't be used for anything else.

I should also mention I'm having trouble with ubuntu 13.10 and getting xbmc to install on it.

You should follow http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=165707 but instead of using the mini.iso. Use the 13.10 server iso and press F4 on the initial boot screen and select minimal.
That should work around the mini.iso problem on the nuc.

"nightlies" and "all the addons" is not consistent. Many addons are not available for gotham.
