Debian and Gotham
#1
I updated my LMDE package to UP8 which got rid of 12.3 and updated me to Gotham alpha9 which is not the latest.

I used the instructions here;

http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...ian/Ubuntu

The source code I used was downloaded from here;

https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc;

I built it from source a few days ago and according to XBMC, I am using;

13.0-Alpha12 Git:20140210-79140d7.

My questions are as follow;

  1. How often is this source code updating?
  2. Am I using the latest version?

I ask this because I have a bug I want to submit but I want to ensure I am using the latest version before I do so

1.) Nearly every hour, as you build from master tree
2.) Yes, you are on the very latest development version minus 2 days.

So update once again, rebuild, reproduce and file the bug

Thanks much
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
