Win 1080p stuttering in XBMC, but not MPC-HC or VLC
#1
I've been seeing stuttering for 1080p files since the last few builds of Gotham. The files are on SATA-III drives over a 1 Gb/s network, however the problem occurs with local files.

What I've tried

  1. Revert to default settings
  2. Follow guide pinned at top
  3. Try MPC-HC and VLC (both provide perfect playback)
  4. Use local files
  5. Check network set up

Since the files play perfectly over the LAN in both MPC-HC and VLC, I can only say the issue is with XBMC.

Any further ideas? Here's the log file.

You need go through audio output in XBMC carefully to make that everything is correct. The configures below works great on my HTPC's-

>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

That's how I have it set up - the only change is the XBMC build, Gotham from a few weeks ago worked nicely.
