Hello Guys,

If it's not too late, can you please update XBMC's ffmpeg's library?

The current xbmc stable (12.3) is using the following
avcodec 53
avfilter 2
avformat 53
avutil 51

The versions at ffmpeg ( http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ ) are
avcodec 55
avfilter 4
avformat 55
avutil 52

Nope, not happening for Gotham.

It will happen sometime after that.

pmolson, problem is that almost every library bump will have sideeffects and introduce bugs in XBMC. We already bumped ffmpeg during development of Gotham and it took until recently to get things in shape again. And given that we're in feature freze and working on getting the final release out, we won't take the risk to break things again. So the bump to most recent ffmpeg has to wait after Gotham is out the door.
