Win XBMC shortcut and Windows shortcut disturbing each other
#1
Hello,

I use a XBMC Shortcut(System.Exec.....starts DisplaySwitch.exe) to change output displays in XBMC. I mapped the shortcuts to the red and yellow button on my remote.
This works fine.

Now I added the same shortcuts in Windows, to change the display when XBMC is not running, but now the Windows shortcut and XBMC shortcut seem to disturb each other so that I can not change display when XBMC is running.

If I only use the Windows shortcut, it is not executed either when XBMC is running in fullscreen(not true fullscreen)

Is there a workaround for this problem?

You can't have the same shortcut for two different things, either you need to program different keys or come up with software that is program exclusive and allows for multiple shortcuts depending on what program is in focus. I think one of the launcher programs does this, not sure though.

Thanks for your replie.

I don't want one shortcut for different things. I want the windows shortcut to be passed through to XBMC when it is in fullscreen mode, but that is not possible.

so I tried Autohotkey.....with this it works like charme.....
