hello guys!

i noticed that this very useful script was not longer working since <execute> was replaced by <onclick>

i didn't now, if the original author is still maintaining the script.

no other changes made, but it was also perfect at all... :thumbsup:

here is the download: download submenueditor.py

cheers lolol

you have modified submenueditor v1.0 and not v1.1

but you can find here v1.1 modified.

the author will do an official update as soon as possible.

:thumbsup:

hi.

i am one of the authors. (rocko)
yesterday i updated my xbmc to version of march 16. and the script is definetly not working with this release.
seems to be an error in a xbmc-intern function.

it was working 1 week and its broken again.
i think i'm going :nuts:

edit:
@chandler: you was the guy who editted the gui. right?

Quote: - 14-03-2006 changed: all strings/labels are internally utf-8 now.  will almost certainly require rescanning the databases if you use a non-ascii charset.

encode('iso-8859-1')
change to 'utf-8' and it's working again, only xbmc localized string have problem

edit
gui looks like my mod from november magazine v2
still to do
pal16x9 users get pal background

bg1                     = '4x3home.png'

@Rockstarr - your script is very usufull :kickass:  -thx a lot :bowdown:

the gui from v1.1 seems to be made by smuto, i thinked it was the original v1.1 when i modified v1.1b.

i only replaced "execute" with "onclick" and done french trad.

no new look exactly, just fixed "onclick" and french localisation :d
Sorry for my...english :blush:

this not seems to be the only problem.

@Confusedmuto & chandler:

does this work with pm3 in ntsc now? (ntsc derives its submenu from the pal folder) before the script would say that it cant find the xml in the ntsc folder.
