I have installed xbmc on a win7 pc . I set up Xbox 360 as a extender in windows media centre. But how do I get xbmc to show on tv through the Xbox 360

It's not clear what you're trying to do.
You can't send the xbmc gui over the lan to the Xbox360 if that what you're trying to do, all you can do is set xbmc as a DNLA/UPnP server then serve files to Xbox360 that way using the native interface in the Xbox360.

The pc is upstairs so want to use the Xbox to wirelessly link the pc to the tv.hope this makes sense.

I have a problem to start the XBMC program on my Vaio laptop
The laptop is running on Windows 7 professional
The problem after starting the XBMC programma (12.3 Frodo) is that an error is displayed and the computer is on hold and needs a restart to function again.
The displayed error is Unable to create GUI.Exiting
Can anyone please advice, thanks in advance
