Good Morning,

I am struggling to get all my channels and not sure what I am doing wrong. I have a Hauppauge WintTV HVR-1200 which I brought second hand working but without software. I downloaded the latest drivers from their website and it all installed fine first time on my windows 7 x64.

I have tried MP backend and ArgusTV backend and both of them are missing UK freeview channels for instant Channel E4 is missing yet if I unplug the aerial and plug it into my TV which is freeview enabled it gets all the channels.

The other thing is when I tune with Argus TV it seems to get the same channels like 10 times!

Am I doing something wrong?

Could be that your tuner simply sucks. I for one have pledged to never, ever buy Hauppage again.

Have a look on ukfree.tv and look up your transmitter; see what other channels are carried on the same mux as E4 and see if you have those. It could be that you're missing a mux that you have to add manually.
