No sound on HDMI when switch amp on

XBMCbuntu stable
Shuttle xs35gt
Harman Kardon AVR 151
Harmony Touch remote

Right,

Everything is fine until I turn everything off at night (well everything other than the shuttle as I can't find the proper XBMC device for the Harmony). When I turn it on in the morning I have to reboot the Shuttle to get any sound.
  • Anyone have any ideas I can try to get rid of this behaviour?
  • Anyone have any ideas on the correct harmony device I can use so I can suspend/wake with the remote?

Thanks in advance as this is soooooo annoying :-)

Hardcode the EDID of the AVR, so that the driver does not loose it's handshake. There are multiple threads concerning that issue.

For example, read this (and adapt to your OS): http://openelec.tv/forum/68-audio/61795-...d-on#69329
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

For your harmony...

Take a look at this:

http://myremotesetup.com/EasyZapper/New/...ocSpice%2F

At this site, you choose for "Gerät" the "Computer" -> "Media Center PC", after this you choose "Shuttle" for "Hersteller" and then enter your model number. I can't link direct to it, but the harmony supports it.
