Apologies for resurrecting a dead thread. But thought I'd post an update.
Just thought I'd see how my ODroid U2 coped with a new OE build from the Odroid forums. Was pleasantly surprised that refresh rate switching worked. (Not sure there is 23.976Hz support though)
Had to do a bit of tweaking to get 720/50p stuff to play without tearing, couldn't get any 1080i stuff to deinterlace, and sound was limited to PCM 2.0. No multichannel PCM no bitstreaming. Some 720/50p stuff wouldn't play watchably at all (frames presented out of order)
