all the latest cvs can read a ts file recorded with a dreambox (with davinci image) and browsed by smb directly on dreambox,but is impossible to select the audio stream.
if i try to read the ts file browsing by smb with vlc on pc or mac i can select the correct audio stream (usually italian or english)
is a bug or a requested feauture?

try with mplayer for windows as thats the main playback engine. (preferably version 1.0pre6).

yes,i have the exact problem with mplayer for windows!
tha audio stream is only in english (i'm italian ^_^)
can i use an alternative player for xbmc?

there is only one alternate player -- the dvd player. you can try it this way: select "play with" from the context menu, then choose the dvd player. (before you ask, you cannot make it the default.)

so i'm guessing there is no way to just change the audio stream with mplayer? i've went into the audio settings while playing and it only gives me the option of stereo, left only and right only.
