I'm looking at a new XBMC PC (a refurbished HP) because my old one died. It runs Win 7 64 bit and from the posts I have read, XBMC will work on it (the posts seemed vague). My question is, is this a good idea or should I just stay safe with a 32 bit version? I figured that since I'm starting over, does it make sense to move to 64 bits.
My media files are currently on an internal Sata hard drive, but I have in in a case and thought I would just run it thru a USB for now. The PC is mainly only used for XBMC and Mozilla. The other main components will be a Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz processor and 4GB of Ram.
Just trying to avoid any (major) problems on my new build. I'm not a gamer but do want full web access and Netflix.
Thanks!
