Is there a button, like in the standard xbmc web interface, that allows me to update my library with the push of a button in the iOS remote? I read about something like that here on the forums but I cannot figure out where it is located.

Why not use a already available function from xbmc in the awesome remote app since it is already opened? But thanks for the suggestion. I think.

Tap on the green button that says "XBMC v12" or whatever, then swipe to the right or tap the gear icon in the top right, and it should show the update library command.
