But my short question only require a short answer :-)

Can XBMC easily be installed on Amazons FireTV, is it working probarly and can it run HD materiel?

Thanks for the links - I'm also looking into this. Seems like Amazon Fire TV will be a no-brainer for people who just want a cheap box to run XBMC.
