Win TV channel showing up as green screen with DXVA enabled
#1
Ive got this really annoying problem that im keen to get fixed.

I am running XBMC gotham (vanilla version from the main website) on windows 7. Streaming TV from an Argus TV backend.

The hardware is an Intel Atom D2500 motherboard.

All the live channels are working with good signal quality. I have an annoying problem with one channel showing no picture just a green screen with sound. If i leave it long enough eventually it starts flashing a garbled picture.

If i turn off DXVA2 acceleration it shows the picture but its a little bit jittery and i cant play any hi-def videos from my server.

I wondering if theres any troubleshooting steps i can take? Ive tried reinstalling the OS and using different video drivers. Also tried Frodo to no effect.

Try to disable DXVA decoding and open bad channel again. Can you provide a full debug log with issue?

Hi thank for replying.

I can disable DXVA2 and the channel works, but the cpu isnt strong enough to play any of my HD movies

Ive posted the full log here: http://pastebin.com/e2MxZBzd

When i play the channel it keeps spamming these errors:

seems like this one channel has specific properties which your GPU cannot decode.
