Hi,

Im interested in putting together a intel nuc for my dad and was looking at the above intel nuc. Would this run xbmc smoothly with a msata? We would be streaming some hd channels and some film streaming, I have a 4gb ram stick from my laptop that I can use and have a power cord.

Your input would be appreciated!

Just buy a DN2820FYKH. laptop drives are cheaper and the 2820 or 2830 chip is faster.

Thanks I'll look into that one. Just noticed the ram I have is 1.5v, this wont work sure it wont?

C847 works well for OpenELEC but not so great for Windows.

Thanks for the responses. Does anyone know if openelec supports proxies? Like purevpn? My dad is looking to use itvplayer but we are based in ireland and is geo blocked.
