For the life of me, I cannot get NextPVR to connect to a server. It's such a great program, but it can never connect to anything, so it's kind of a bummer. I also want to be able to add channels, any help for that? I use a MacBook Pro btw, if you couldn't tell already.

Have you got NextPVR setup on a Windows machine on your network? ie, with channels scanned on your tuner, and able to watch live tv in NextPVR itself. You need to do that first, before you try connecting to it from XBMC.

Two problems with that.
1. I don't have a PC. I have a Mac.
2. I'm planning on using NextPVR on a streaming device (not just my computer).
2.5. Any streaming devices you would recommend? If you know of any that is.
