I'm trying to have a targeted update by XBMC after a file is downloaded, but I'm hitting this error. I've quadruple checked all my settings, and everything says I should be able to communicate with XBMC, but it's just not happening. I'm using NZBGet to trigger the NotfyXBMC script.

This error is fairly ambiguous: Unable to open URL: [Errno socket error] [Errno 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

Any ideas what I need to do?

Is xbmc really set to run on port 8096? That certainly isn't the default.

hi all, i'm having problems getting xbmc notify to work. Please see below log, i get the same errors with full scan and targeted scan. I am using xbmc14 Helix could this be the reason?

Is anyone able to get this script to work (as a targeted folder update) properly since updating to Helix?
Or really anything forward since Frodo?

Any help would be appreciated, or perhaps a link to a newer script that does output.
