I tried both pc and android latest version and i want to give you some tips:

PC: I think you need to get rid of the lav filters because a lot of streams are choppy and laggy while they are smoothly reproduced on vlc. You should try ffmeg instead of lav.
FFmpeg is also used by simpletv (see http://plstonline.org/) which is ,imho, still better in terms of fluidity (but perfect player imho has a better osd)

Android: just like pc, streams sometimes freeze or lag while they are perfectly played on mxplayer (imho the best player on android system).
It's only a matter of built-in codecs: would be great if you can somehow integrate the same video and audio codecs that mxplayer uses !

I hope my advices can be useful so you can improve you project !

I've just tried your last android version.

"use native player" enabled: some channels cannot still be reproduced (no problem with mxplayer)

"use native player" disabled: now every channel start playing but i experienced a lot of lags. It seems that live streamings are reproduced
with some kind of "slow-motion mode" enabled.

Overall: with native player i had a better fluidity but some channels don't load; without native player every channel start but worse fluidity.

I think you should try to add hardware decoding (just like mxplayer).
In fact in mxplayer i have lags with sw decoding, while hw is able to play every stream smoothly !
Another option would be to add the possibility to use custom codecs (like mxplayer)--->(see this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/mx-player-custom-codec-dts-support-t2156254)

One more thing: instead of adding the folder path of a .m3u file, i think you should let us to select the playlist we want by searching through folders as "IPTV" by Alexander Sofronov does.

Thanks for the great program. I am using windows version 1.1.2. Can you let me know how to save the playlist once it is edited to be loaded by Kodi or any other? I am having these two major problems.
1) If one link is not connecting, when I click another channel it always says Busy To Switch, I have to close the program and open it again.
2) Some IPTV links that works fine in PotPlayer, Kodi, or VLC dont work in Perfect Player. for example this

1) It must not say Busy when connection timeout passed. Timeout can be setup in settings.
Does it happens all the time and with all streams?

Is there anyway not to save every time i change something, but keep the changes and then (with a press of a button)

It needs to be made to reload newly added (or removed) EPG programmes.
Generally it is integrity necessary measure.

Amazing work, love it and will use as my main live tv app on android.

A couple things I would suggest for the android app:

1. Have the ability to to scroll through channels without having to go back to the list. Next & Prev
2. Be able to allow for raw rtmp links along with parameters ex.

Hello, I like your program, especially the android version and I can help you with the Italian translation.
However ,I generate my EPG xml file with Webgrabber plus, all the other players (simpleTVon pc, Lazy IPTV on android) can read it but in perfect player even if it loads and recongize the channels id, it stays empty.
this is an example with just one channel

What I can see not meets the XML format are:
1) Unnecessary minuses before the start-tags (<tv, <channel and <programme).
2) Forbidden symbol & in <tv> tag (MDB & REX).

When I fix this issues it's loaded ok.

As for Italian translation I'll send you p.m.
