Probably, your HTTP server sometimes do not gives correct respond (for example 403, 404 page instead of EPG file). Program downloads such page as incorrect EPG file. Thus, your EPG info can be empty.

Also, I've found that Refresh button do not try to download EPG. Only program restarting and EPG settings changing will redownload EPG. Will fix it.

Hope this will help.

Anyway, refresh button will download EPG only if it wasn't already downloaded on today.
For example, if you start program manually before network is available (when Wi-Fi is not connected yet) it can't download EPG on startup. In this case refresh button will download EPG.
But if it downloaded wrong EPG file refresh button won't help until tomorrow.

Usually, EPG contains info for a week. So, downloading everyday is enough. Downloading every time is redundant.

Hi all,

I have severe brain drain tonight, SORRY.

I am trying to use Andy, the android emulator, in conjunction with Perfect Player V0.90 (android)

I have an m3u8 list, and want to use it to work within the program.

It works in vlc

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it in to Perfect Player, and for it to then play.

I have tried inserting the file as a document in sdcard/playlists, and several places, but the program just doesn't seem to "see it"

I have tried various naming methods,e.g iptvjohn.txt iptvjohn.m3u iptvjohn.m3u8 iptvjohn etc, but it will not be found in all the sub menu's within Perfect Player.

My list is in this type of format

#EXTINF:-1,.
#EXTINF:-1,OZ CHANNELS
#EXTINF:-1, JJJ 1
http://xxxx.live.xxxxxstream.com/xxxxxxx...index.m3u8

My head is thumping...am I doing something too stupid to even think I can do.

You must specify playlist URL or file path in settings.
In Playlist field enter correct placement. Examples:
/mnt/sdcard/Download/playlist.m3u
http://iptv.site.com/playlist.m3u

After this channels will appear. If videos will not play try to disable Use native player option in settings (restart needed).

Now to suss out why the android gives me grief!
