Setup:
* Fresh install of Gotham (Windows 7)
* Network folder containing series and nfo files
** SeriesName - S01E1 S01E02.m4v
** SeriesName - S01E1 S01E02.nfo
The series is added as a TV Series->"Local Information Only". Any series with a multipart episode nfo just stopped scanning at the first multipart episode.
The nfo file was generated by Media Companion, it adds multiple <episodedetails> tags under a <multiepisodenfo> tag. The wiki (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=NFO...V_episodes) says to just use multiple <episodedetails> tags without any parent. I modified the nfo to do this and still no luck. Then I did a little digging and turned up this post: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=59111
So it seems the <multiepisodenfo> should be no bar to XBMC anyway (I even tried changing the tag to <xbmcmultiepisode> just in case... no effect).
Then I thought I'd try a scan using TVDB so I could export and see how XBMC handled it. When I did it only one half of the double episode was shown:
1x1
1x3 (where was 1x2?)
I started looking back at some older series that I knew had worked on my old Frodo install and scanned them using tvdb - they're getting the same issue (only one episode shown). I know the file names worked perfectly in the past, but not on my new Gotham install.
-------
Background:
I've been using Eden and Frodo (mostly as XBMCbuntu but also only on my windows 7 main machine) for some time. I've finally migrated all my series onto a dedicated machine (without xbmc installed on it), and decided to make sharing things easier by generating nfo files and downloading artwork using Media Companion. I've updated all my machines to use Gotham and currently none of the multipart episodes that have worked fine for years are working, either from nfo or tvdb scan.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
