All videos play in fast motion

hi,
on osx mavericks 10.9.3
xbmc 13 gotham

every video i play, even stream plays in fast motion like its in X4 fast forward.

anyone know this issue? i did a few searches and didn't find anything helpful.

I would suggest posting a link to a Debug log (wiki). You'll have a much better chance of someone being able to diagnose the problem.

Video being played at a sample rate the hardware doesn't support can cause this so you'll need to provide a debug log of you playing a file that shows this, see log_file (wiki)
