Question
Hi,

Is the Xbmc.org PVR Add-ons Repository down?
I don't see any add-on inside it.
I have already tried the refresh option.

Thanks in advance.

Which OS are you using?

There are simply no add-ons in the repository. These are installed when XBMC is installed. Except for linux as you need to install them alongside XBMC

Sorry, I meant how do you add the PVR addon repository after install Kodi Alpha? I've been googling for ages but can't find how to add it or Mediaportal PVR addon to my Live install.

Thanks

Live? like XBMCbuntu? See http://kodi.wiki/view/MediaPortal_PVR#Co...ediaPortal and click the "show" button for the command line instructions for installing the PVR add-ons.

Sorry, yes XBMCbuntu. I've followed those instructions, it says its installed but if I remote into the XBMC machine, there is no pvr.addon folder in the home/XBMC/.kodi/addons location, and when checking the addons through XBMC menu, there is no PVR clients section, no disabled addon etc so it looks like its not installing. I'm running today's Alpha5 build if that makes any difference.

Driving me nuts, tried everything.

I wonder if the PVR add-ons are having trouble with the new settings folder name being kodi instead of xbmc.

Possibly. I've tried dropping the PVR addon folder there manually but 'PVR Clients' still doesn't show up in addons so cannot be enabled. Anything I can try changing to prove/disprove your suspicions?

you have broken packages. If you look at that error, it says vuplus is already installed, then goes on trying to install vnsi-server, which you didn't ask it to.

Do you actually use vdr? if not:
sudo apt-get remove vdr-plugin-vnsiserver
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get upgrade
