Welcome to the Forum 1st.

You need to give more information on what has happened in detail. The procedures on troubleshooting problems is recurrences. You need to reproduce the problem in order to make proper Debug-log.

So, Tell us... from where the movies comes from and in what format. What Xbmc version via what Distro (openElec/Rasbmc/xbian...)

the distribution is openELEC on raspberry pi, and the format is .mkv

Either your file is corrupt, or your network connection is very flaky. If your buffer runs out, I think it may crap out too, are you using wireless? Powerline?
