I've been playing around with BigNoid's library data provider script, adding a new listing method which shows all recent movies and episodes together in one list, sorted by date.
Whilst it's been easy enough to add and it seems to work correctly as a widget (in that clicking on the item launches the correct item, the info labels are correct, etc), it occurred to me that I've never knowingly seen a plugin that returns multiple library content types in one list (and very rarely seen in it XBMC, with the exception of linking a specific movie to a tv show.)
So, is there any problem with doing this? Is it going to confuse XBMC, or is it perfectly safe? Thanks in advance for all knowledge and opinions
