Being open source isn't mutually exclusive to being free or being called "freeware" (a definition not really formally defined other than in price), so if you really want to nitpick then Filebot is still "freeware".

I think freeware is usually considered to be stuff that is given away but without the source being made available.

Unlike "open source", there really isn't a recognized group that maintains the criteria for "freeware". While many groups make it a point to distinguish that freeware does not imply being open source in itself, as price is unrelated to source code licenses or other possible restrictions, that doesn't mean they are mutually exclusive.

It's just a combination of words, really; free and software.
