This is the perfect skin for my small 7" SDTV car DVD screens. However, when I try to play a movie that plays perfectly using the Confluence theme, on Back Row it starts music visualization and only plays the audio.

I'm running this on a Raspberry Pi, Debian ("Raspbian"), with XBMC installed.

Sorry I need a bit more info - what file are you trying to play? You say it's a movie video file but XBMC is treating the file as if it's a music file and starting the music visualisation - is that right?

It's just I can't see how the skin can have any effect there so I'm a bit stumped.

It is an m4v file. It was weird because the same movie file played as expected on the Confluence skin (and other skins) right afterwards.

The problem may have been related to the fact that I installed XBMC on top of Raspbian following these instructions.

I grabbed another SD card yesterday and installed Raspbmc using the USB installation method and Back Row is working correctly now. Thank you!
