Hi there XMBC community,

I want to ask your advice on the following: I want to build my first home theater but I'm totally new to this. I dont have a lot of restrictions except my sound system:

I dont need the state of the art. I'm looking for a system that:

Allows me to run XBMC which will be displayed on my tv (might be buying a new one)
Allows me to operate everything by using a tablet.
Allows me to play music from my phone or any other mobile device.
Allows me to store photo's and movies (i do want my movies stored locally).

I do not need to play games.
I do not need a system up 24/7.

I'd like to be able to start my system remotely. A quick start-up is a nice to have.
