Hi all,
I have a conundrum: trying to install XMBCBuntu-13.0~gotham_amd64 from USB on a DN2800MT board that has VGA, HDMI and Laptop lcd port LVDS. Problem is, Ubuntu setup detects LVDS and switches over to it! The only video I have available is VGA or HDMI. BIOS is set to default to HDMI, but there is NO WAY to make the LVDS invisible to Ubuntu setup.
During the Grub setup selection screen, I can TAB and modify the startup line with this:
video=LVDS-1: d (no space between : and d. had to space it or this post will replace it with angry face! LOL)
With the above added, I can actually see the initial setup, but as soon as Ubuntu goes into the next stage, screen blanks out again.
any ideas?
