Solved No Information Found on newly added TV shows
#1
I'm very confused. I've had trouble scraping (TMDB as source) a couple of newly added shows: Spy X Family and Kenobi.

Strangely, Spy X Family used to scrape just fine, then stopped working when I reloaded it. I did:

Information > Reload > Refresh all Episodes > Do not ignore locally stored info > No Information Found!

I use a tvshow.nfo file, with no individual episode nfos. An episode guide tag is included instead. Usually, this works just fine, and the majority of my library is set up like this.

I've attached the tvshow.nfo files for the two-issue shows (Spy X Family and Kenobi) as well as an nfo for a show that scrapes just fine (I don't see a difference). All are generated with TinyMediaManager. Also attached my debug log file.

Spy X Family NFO
Kenobi NFO
Kodi debug log
Steins;Gate NFO (this one reloads just fine)

The directory and file is named like so:

Anime (NAS)\Spy X Family\SPY x FAMILY - 01x01 - OPERATION STRIX.mkv

Any ideas about what could be going on? It's driving me insane!

Thanks!

This seems to be the relevant section from the debug log (full linked above): https://paste.kodi.tv/aziciyohoy.kodi

And the log of Steins;Gate being successfully scanned is included in the log: https://paste.kodi.tv/panocenofo.kodi

Its nice when members provide all the info in their first post. Thanks!!

Easy fix. That scraper you are using is having problems. I think it is about time we mark it broken.

Please change to tv scraper No 5 as shown here... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=363391

Let us know if that fixes it for you.

Also, in TMM, there should be an option to disable writing the episodeguide in the tvshow.nfo file. You should set it so it tag is not written to the nfo file.

Thank you so much! That was such an easy fix. I feel a bit silly for banging my head against the issue for a month instead of posting here sooner.

I actually like the episode guide feature, I don't like cluttering my directory with episode nfo files that can have outdated info.
