On XBMC startup, missing movies and tv shows
#1
I have XBMC Gotham (these problems happened in earlier version too) installed on a windows 7 pc.
XBMC autostarts after windows is booted. When ever it autostarts into XBMC, I am missing the Movies & TV shows directory from the main menu.
The movies & tv shows are located on a NAS, synology diskstation ds211j.
I have to exit XBMC and load it again for them to show up.
Another issue I have is that when it auto scans for new content on startup, it doesn't find the new content.
I sometimes have to manually scan for new content a few times before it shows up.
Thank You for the help.

It sound to me that XBMC is starting and scanning before your NAS is starting up. You need to put a delay on XBMC starting up after the NAS has started.
