hi new to this forum I was hoping to get some help and advise I want to put a bootable xbmc on a usb stick so as to enable be to boot onto an old wyse thin server to be able to stream movie's from my nas setup any help will be gratefully received

Without some sort of hardware spec of the Wyse PC, it's a bit tricky.
However Xbmcbuntu (not sure if the spelling is correct) can be loaded in bootable form to a usb stick

OpenELEC is probably your best bet from a USB stick. http://openelec.tv/get-openelec/download...ric-builds

Probably not going to work unless that wyse has decent graphics. You got specs?

This page has the output of /proc/cpuinfo and lspci for a wyse winterm http://winterm.gaast.net/main.php/news.html

If that is the same machine (I did include v90 in my google search) then it is particularly unpromising. The video and cpu are useless for xbmc use.

Actually scratch that, it is clearly an earlier model. But I think the answer is going to be the same.
