Another NO audio issue xbmcubuntu

Hello

I've been messing with this for HOURS now and can't seem to get the correct asound.conf configuration to get my audio through my HDMI.

I've searched the net for help and used different settings and what not with no success. I hope someone here can help me out Smile

Everything is unmuted and turned up.

Code:

Glad to read there is NO audio issue.

But seriously, you dont need any asound.conf, its should just work, if it doesnt (remove any you created) show me a screenshot of alsamixer over ssh and a full pastebin of debug log (wiki)

sorry, should of been more clear its while in desktop mode.

Update: I am able to get audio in desktop mode, however when using xbmc as a session and I use the netflixbmc along with chrome launcher, the first run has sound, any other launch after that, without a reboot there is no sound.... I can't figure out how sound can be okay first run, then second one nothing until I reboot again.

Everything on alsamixer is unmutted and volume is up. Smile

xbmcbuntu 13 creates an asound.conf in your homedir automatically(only if none exists already). For that to work, you must have configured Xbmc to use the correct audio device. So, if you have sound in xbmc, it should work on the desktop as well.
