UPNP Turned on but not running after reboot
#1
I have just set up Openelec on a Asus Chromebox everything is working well. But after every reboot I need to turn the UPNP setting off and back on for my upstairs unit to pick it up (raspberry pi) any ideas what the issue could be?

You expect help but you don't post a debug log (wiki)

On your Asus box (the one which stops working when you reboot it)
Enable logging.
Enable upnp
Reboot

Once it has completed the reboot post the log.
It should hopefully capture the reason as to why it's failing to start

This is old and maybe obsolete, but if you could give it a try it may help you;

IF it works, then it lokks like a bug to me, something that should be reported.

Probably yes..

This is how it looks when it boots (and fails)
..
18:14:26 T:140571374344000 NOTICE: starting upnp server
18:14:26 T:140571374344000 DEBUG: GetFirstConnectedInterface no connected interface found - requery list
..

That part of the log-file is is what you want to keep an eye on .. see if delaying startup will help

Have you tried out anything, does it help to delay the startup?
