This isn't a Kodi problem or a problem with the Backup/Restore app...... this is an issue with KitKat and it blocking writes to external SD/USB devices. I'm guessing that since my Android box is running KitKat, the only way to backup my XBMC(Kodi) data is via pointing it to a Windows share or DropBox, correct?
