I have a Raspberry PI B+ model running XBMC. It does not recognize the Volume UP, Volume Down, or Pause/Play buttons from the Fusion USB Volume knob. It also does not recognize them from a normal keyboard with the same keys.
I found these instructions to try and fix the problem:
http://www.howtoeverything.net/linux/ras...-keyboards
They basically explain how to add a keymap file so that raspbmc will respond to the key presses. I was stumped by the instructions because the key presses for Volume Up, Volume Down, and Pause/Play do not appear in the debug log when debug is activated. Other key presses do.
I looked into this further and tried showkeys from the console. "showkeys -s" shows blank lines. "showkeys" shows 113, 114 and 115 for the three keys in question. (Both the knob and the keyboard do this.)
So where do I even look for information on a fix?
