Hi

This is my new color scheme "Night" -PART 1

I've tried to make something new with (on) a dark background.
I have made some color variations for "Night" theme. I have tested "Night" with xbmc "Gotham" 13.2 / Eminece 1.0.11 and
Kodi "Helix" betha 3/Eminence 1.1.3.

My Eminence settings are:
- Show Fanart - on
- Fanart fade amount - moderate
- Set backround overlay - wood.jpg

For "Night" I have changed with an additional parameter "Selected3" these views: "wall", "poster" and "lovefilm".
The view "banner list" is not changed, plot and title are white here when a movie is selected.

Parameter "Selected3" (changed "Selected" to "Selected3") is a "stopgap" and works only with the color scheme "Night".
Jurialmunkey can definitely find a better solution than I did it and for another "little" things, for example:

- In views: "banner", "banner list", "big list" and "media info" is " the "watchedimage" hard to see
if a movie is selected and the view option "alt style" is off.

However, the decisive factor is whether jurialmunkey like this color scheme, then come also determines the improvements.
Jurialmunkey, you see, I try to make some news for your skin but I really need your support to make everything work perfectly.

I even see my "work" here as a suggestion and proposal.

sounds like it may be a syntax error.
what did you name your file?

you'll have to edit the corresponding XML file.

if you're comfortable with this:

go to the skin.emenience folder
look for the color folder
find the theme you are using

at the bottom, you should see something that looks like this:

Thanks, which item do I need to change to set the opacity of the home screen icons? both when unselected and selected.

** Not sure if that's possible.
You can try either the HomeBarBG, or the HomeBarFG
to get the effect you want.

if you open up defaults.xml file, this is how we are "tweaking" our own special themes.

probably the most user-friendly experience of all the skins I've used.

takes a little trial and error to figure out what does what, to get your specific needs. but @jurialmunkey has done a great job to break down pretty much every section of the skin.

you can just copy and paste lines from the default.xml to your theme, and play around with it.

Replace the Includes_Header.xml file with the following:
