Has anybody made version that can sit on top of a NetGem box?
I have a Telstra T-Box, which is a glorified Netgem box, but since ditching Telstra as my ISP, I can't use half of the features, like media streaming, and even the program guide. It's essentially now a 500GB (SATA) brick which enables timeshift. Whoopdee doo.
I would love to ditch the firmware in this thing (well, these things, since I have 2) and replace them with Kodi and a good PVR add-on.
Anybody tried and had any success? I'm relatively ofay with telnet and SSH, but I don't trust myself not to brick a machine without a clear, tested guide, and my wife and kids use these things every day, so I'd like to be pretty sure of its success before trying anything.
