Logitech just announced a new hub and remote dubbed the Logitech Living Home. The hub can communicate with RF, IR Bluetooth and WiFi devices.

What are the odds that Logitech will provide and API to allow DIYers like ourselves to interface our computers with IR devices and what not?

Fixed your link, whitespaces can be a ... Big Grin

As for logitech being customer focused and providing API's, well don't hold your breath.

Awesome. I might be replacing my TiVo slide remote now unless I can send commands from my computer through the hub and out to my HT equipment
