So where in that log does it crash? XBMC still seems to be running at the end of your log.

TV show ends and returns to gui, at this point comes the message "kodi has stopped working" and kodi exits. Thats all.
I also have a crash dump, where should I upload it?
#19
Yes to crash dump. Does this message appear as a kodi dialog, or from windows?

same situation: movie (tv-show) finished and after returning to xbmc-gui the windows message "Kodi has stopped working" appears....

due to kodi not scanning some tv episodes, i turned on debug log.
on the end of the scan, kodi crashed with "Kodi hast stopped working":

missing episodes are scanned correctly

"Kodi has stopped working"

I've had this problem quite a bit recently. It happens when I am not using it and Kodi is just minimized in the background doing nothing.
#25
Well of course it's not working if you aren't using it!

Had that one too yestetday. Need to reproduce it with a debugger, because the log wasn't helpful.

I've been experiencing the same issue. I posted a log at http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=353198 it looks to me like the issue is an invalid call to Direct 3D that is repeated a significant number of times. I noticed that this mostly happens when the screen dims because of inactivity.

Hopefully that helps to determine why Kodi is crashing more than the last release of XBMC Gotham.

Having same problem. Hopefully it is fixed in newer releases.

Not sure it's relevant, but in my case disable skin widget solved my problems with Kodi crashing.
