For some reason - scraping movie titles on my son's iPad does N-O-T work.

It sometimes cannot find the movie if I manually type the name. If I keep typing THE SAME NAME - eventually it "recognizes" it and when I hit the movie title - comes up with "No info found [original search text of movie name i put in]!"

What in the hell is wrong with the movie database scraper on his iPad?!

I reinstalled XBMC - still nothing ...what in the heck?!

Nevermind - i fixed it.

Issue had to do with messed up permission on the Video.Db and thumbnails .db from my ipad onto his...damnit..took forever

next time reading in the iOS FAQ (wiki) might give you hints for preventing the "forever" ...
