Solved (anime) internal mkv subtitles suddenly stopped showing
#1
Hi,

I was running on the latest stable release of openElec (4.2). In combination with Xbmc 13.2.
And suddenly i'm missing subtitles in my anime shows, that were working before.

I've attached an debug xbmc.log: http://pastebin.com/qMMjLbkc
The debug kicks in just before I start an "ace of diamond" episode.

In the mean time i've tried multiple mkv files with internal subs. None work.
Other mkv's with external subs work just fine.

I've upgraded to KODI 14.0-Alpha4 Git: fa8281b

I've tried different sub fonts in the settings.

Maybe I did something stupid? But been fiddling for two nights now, and can't figure it out!

Were they working in 4.2? There was a issue that was addressed recently with subs:

It stopped working in (i believe) OpenElec 4.2. I was on the stable release.
I've installed the nightly, to see if it was resolved in the Alpha4?.

I've set OpenElec to automatically update, so I don't know when what changed. Also installing the nightly might not help.

I'll wait for a nightly of > Sep 26th, and see if that fixes the issue.

Ok, seames to be a known error: http://openelec.tv/news/22-releases/139-...0-released

Going to test with a snapshot from 30th.
