Building for Amazon FireTV
#1
Hi,

Attempted to build XBMC (branched off the 13.2 tag) for FireTV. The build has succeeded, however starting it up on FireTV results in a blank screen.

I've used the following script to build -- https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8441...android.sh

Could someone point me to which, if any, step was incorrect? I suspect an incorrect SDK was used, but I've followed the instructions in README ...

Appreciate the help!

I, too, would be curious, since picking one of these units up last night. Seems like a powerful little android based media center box.

There's nothing wrong with that (in fact, I'm back to the 'official' build, having realized that HW decoding was the problem) -- but I'd still like to know what part of the build went wrong. From what I can see, the steps in the script follow the instructions, yet the result isn't a working binary.

Would be useful to see an xbmc log to have an idea of the issue...

That script builds the 13.2-Gotham-Private branch from http://www.github.com/w3sip/xbmc repo. I don't know in what way it defers from our repo. Do you have the same problem when building current master?
