JSON remote control connection problem
#1
Hello,

I have a problem with JSON remote control.
If only "Allow programs on this system to control XBMC" is activated
it is not possible to connect to XBMC.
The port 9090 is open but the connection is refused.
I tried to connect with 127.0.0.1 and 192.168.0.100.
Every time I can not connect.
Firewall is deactivated.
If I activate also "Allow programs on other systems to control XBMC"
everything is working fine.

Do I have to connect in any other way, or is this a bug ?
How it is checked if the program is on the same system

9090 is port for the tcp rpc server.

If you are using http to connect, you want to use the webserver port (default 80)

I use RPC for my application to control XBMC.
Not the web interface on port 80.
