is it possible to use the bluetooth remote from the amazon fire tv for a self-assembled htpc with an external bluetooth adapter?

If its compatible how can i get this done?

I would also like to know more about it. Does someone here has a Fire TV Remote, so he or she could test it with a bluetooth enabled PC.

Remote gets detected as audio device, didn't do any further testing so far.

I have the remote here lying on my bed but for now i cant get it connect to the system ( I use openelec so far )
