Cannot see all files with xbmc over https:// ubuntu
#1
I can see most files in my directory, but for some reason a few are missing? I can see them in the operating system, but I cannot see them in the xbmc directory. They are all .mkv's. The permissions on the files are all chmod 777'd ( I know that's uncessary but ya, just to prove the point heh) http://imgur.com/9Xqu9Qh What the hell is going on here?

Maybe permissions on directories above the files?

These files are all in the same directory, all have the same permissions, are all .x264/mkv, I can only see 3 of them. I've downloaded more files now and I can't see them either, and I don't think I changed anything between X and Y. I can access every file in the operating system / over https in my browser.

how would that explain why I can see some of the files?

You said they are all in the same dir, just looking for stuff like weird characters etc. Also what does your HTTP server logs say?

You are looking in xbmc's file view, not library view aren't you?

But when you are seeing/not seeing the files, are you in files view or library view?

You don't view files from add sources!

can you tell me the way you'd prefer me to view the files instead of the way you're perceiving me to? cause i'm not sure i'm accurately describing it? doesn't my screenshot answer your question as to how i'm viewing it?
