I've had an offer of a FireTV and am intrigued by the amount of love I've read about XBMC running on the box. I'm running XBMC on a Raspberry Pi (13.0-Beta3 Apr 8 2014). The Installation folder is on my Synology shared via NFS.

Is it possible to migrate the settings from my Raspbmc onto a new Fire TV XBMC/Kodi install?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

use xbmc backup and you should be able to restore your xbmc as it is to the new one…

It should be available in one of the repos.

I used it to copy my config from my one fire tv to another….

Of course I did all the leg work first, i.e. setup my fire tv and installed xbmc, installed the android apps that run through xbmc, i.e. netflix etc. and connected to my remote share for the backup, installed the xbmc backup program and then ran it to restore.
