After tinkering with several settings on my CX-919 and Pinoeer AVR, I finally got XBMC to playback a DD 5.1 soundtrack on DVD .vob files as well as some .mkw files. The only problem is that the audio is pitched lower than it should be - voices are slightly lower. It sounds like everyone has a cold!
I'm running the CX-919 directly into the Pioneer via HDMI, and that is feeding an older Sharp Aquos TV via DVI...the CX-919 is set to passthrough as is the audio output in XBMC. DD transcoding is enabled.
I suspect the audio problem has something to do with sampling rate conversion(?)
Not sure if there is another setting I am missing, or if it is an issue inherent with the CX-919.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
