Hello,

how do I get the irtrans VFD (VFD210) of my OrigenAE S16V case to work in XBMC?
I use Win 8.1 and the latest Gotham release.

I´m sorry for posting a german website, but I only know of this site. I got the same vfd in my S10V case, but I never used it under windows and never got it really working under linux. I remember I could use the ir receiver under linux, but I now use a flirc dongle which is much easier to configure.

I got it managed to get the display working for displaying one single message. You have to install the irtrans server on your machine and get the irtrans daemon started to send messages and infos to the display. But I don´t really know for sure anymore. Too long ago.

thanks for the fast reply. I already use the latest irtrans software/driver. I also tried the irtrans software version provided on the origenae site.
No success with both versions...
