[Guide] Get "Pulsar" to stream without providers
#16
Can't get it to work. What a shame.
I used to use "Play To XBMC/Kodi" with XBMCtorrent. After changing the code to "callback('plugin://plugin.video.pulsar/play?uri=' + encodeURIComponent(url));" it still forwards the magnet to XBMCtorrent. Trying to forward the magnet to Pulsar by disabling XBMCtorrent leads to failure.

Hmm.. Have you tried removing XBMCTorrent?

I don't know what's wrong though. You can try download the one I currently use (21-11-2014):
Code:
http://uploadmirrors.com/download/1EZTALFK/play-to-xbmc-chrome-master.7z

And here's the VirusTotal scan:
Code:

Hi u12z.

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for helping.

When I forward a magnet with the Chrome extension (I've tried your as well) after removing XBMCtorrent, I get "Add-on Required – To use this feature you must download an Add-on: XBMCtorrent. Would you like to download this Add-on? (Yes/No)".
XBMC registers that I've uninstalled XBMCtorrent, but XBMC doesn't seem to register Pulsar. Strange.

Any suggestions?

That seems weird. Have you tried removing Pulsar and then install it again? I don't know what else to do. It seems weird

Hi! The original "Play to XBMC/Kodi"-extension has been altered. No need to change the code any longer.
Under the extension's options -> (others) -> (Add-On for Torrents & Magnet Links) you can simply choose between XMBCtorrent and Pulsar. Nice!
Thanks for the guide, though.
